[Sandra Prince Photo][www.inewsguyana.com] – President Donald Ramotar on Wednesday, March 19 accepted letters accrediting new diplomats from Austria and Pakistan. Both reps are nonresident. In the case of Austria, the country has extended an invitation to Caricom students wishing to specialize in tourism to apply for scholarships.
The new Austrian Ambassador, Gerhard Mayer noted that Austria has very successful tourism industry that receives over 24 million foreign visitors annually.
As a part of that industry they have some of most renowned schools to train tourism professionals.
