The agreement calls for a work programme involving a geological and geophysical evaluation which will inform a 3D seismic acquisition, all within the initial period of the license, which is ten years.

John McKenna, Exploration & Business Unit Manager, South America and Colin Kinley, Eco’s Chief Operating Officer, signed respectively for Tullow and Eco.  British High Commissioner to Guyana, Mr. Greg Quinn also attended simple signing ceremony that marked the continuation of a longstanding partnership with Tullow and the Government of Guyana.

Tullow is a prominent company from the United Kingdom with operations in Africa and is currently in another joint venture with Repsol Exploracion Guyana Inc. in the adjacent Kanuku Block. Eco Atlantic is a junior independent company with Canadian origins.

  1. PNC must be warned:::Up to last year there were 700 oil drills in Texas alone…As of now–there are 1/2 of that amount.. So if PNC banking on oil money flowing soon then sadto say massa knows PNC are fools and mass will treat you as just that..

  2. This man -Trotman is a DUNCE! He is blindly signing Guyana key revenue generated assets to the ABC countries and Chinese! The GOLD fields are being handed over to Canadian/US companies, the OIL wealth are handed down to USA/BRITISH companies….what is left for the Guyanese? I suspect ONLY Bharat was the smart economic lord Guyana has? What a joke! If you sign all the deals to foreign people, all the money will flow outside of Guyana leaving the economy to collapse! Instead, why not sign the deals to your OWN local people who can make a profit and re-invested into the country….leaving the money in Guyana for growth and development? Are these guys so dunce that they fail to learn economics in school?
