[www.inewsguyana.com] – Residents of Bydaribo Road, Bartica Region 7 are furious with the authorities for not looking into the uncontrollable garbage situation in their community.
Residents told iNews that the dump site, which is being managed by a private company, has reached a hazardous stage. As a result of the poorly managed dump site, garbage is now being dumped on the main roadway.
iNews was told that residents have made several complaints about the smoke emanating from the dump site, but to no avail. Community members are now appealing to the relevant government agencies to intervene.
