[www.inewsguyana.com] – Investigators have lifted several fingerprints from the home of Joyce Lewis who was discovered murdered in her home on March 26.
iNews (www.inewsguyana.com) was reliably informed that the police have been unable to match the prints with any in their database. It was also related to this news site that there were more than three sets of prints lifted from the home of the woman who lived alone.
The prints included hers, her niece and another relative who would usually visit. A police source related to iNews (www.inewsguyana.com) that the woman’s jewellery box, wardrobe and other parts of the home were dusted for prints. The source went on to say that the woman was not sexually assaulted.
The battered body of the 75 – year – old woman was found tied up in her house with her panties below her knees and the house was ransacked.
The police investigations are ongoing.
