[www.inewsguyana.com] – A 39-year-old Labourer was today (Wednesday, September 3), placed on $100,000 bail for unlawfully acquiring a haversack from the Guyana Defence Force (GDF).
Bertie Stoll of Kuru kururu Soesdyke, Linden Highway, made his appearance before Magistrate Judy Latchman in the Georgetown Magistrate’s and denied the allegation; details of which state that on Tuesday, September 2 at Ameila’s Ward, Public Road, he unlawfully acquired the military haversack.
Police Prosecutor Michael Grant did not reveal the Prosecution’s facts to the Court and the unrepresented man will make his next court appearance before Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry on September 8.
