‘Cheeze Pleaze’ employee charged with stealing from company

A Cheeze Pleaze employee found himself before the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts on Wednesday charged with stealing a quantity of cleaning supplies and cheese from the restaurant.

Nineteen-year-old, John McKenzie of Leopold Street, Georgetown denied the allegation put to him by Senior Magistrate, Fabayo Azore.

It is being alleged that he stole a gallon of jeyes fluid and four bottles of Fabuloso along with a pack of sliced cheese, three cans of fish spray and other items from the restaurant with a total value of $12,543.

The teenager was granted bail in the sum of $15,000 and was referred to Court 11 where he was ordered to next return to Court on August 16.
