Minister of Health, Volda Lawrence and long standing member of the People’s National Congress/Reform was moments ago elected Chairperson of the party after a keenly contested election at Congress Place, Sophia. She is the first female to be elected to the post.
However, Junior Public Infrastructure Minister, Annette Ferguson was elected Vice Chair.
Over 800 members cast their ballots as the Party’s Congress culminates in the wee hours of this morning.
