REMANDED: Michael Scott
REMANDED: Michael Scott

Michael Scott of lot 65 Middle Street, McDoom, East Bank Demerara, pleaded not guilty to the charges which alleged that on July 14, 2016, in Georgetown, in the company of others, he broke and entered into the home of Dante Boston and stole two gold chains – property of Shanice Narine – valued at $680,000 and two pairs of sneakers valued at $40,000 – property of Patrick DeWeever.

The prosecution objected to bail based on the seriousness of the matter and the fact that the defendant has three pending counts of larceny. Scott, who was unrepresented, was refused bail and is to appear in Court on the 10th of October, 2016. (Ramona Luthi)
