19 – Y – O charged for stealing Cell Phone

[www.inewsguyana.com] – Nineteen – year – old Monica Gilbert of Bent Street, Georgetown was today placed on $5,000 bail by Magistrate Ann McLennan on a simple larceny offence.

She pleaded not guilty to the charge, which alleged that on November 01 at Bent Street, Georgetown she stole n LG cell phone valued $50,000 from Shonnel Crandon.

She was represented by Attorney – at – Law, Paul Fung – A – Fat. Police Prosecutor, Dinero Jones had no objections to bail and the matter was transferred before Magistrate Geeta Chandan- Edmond for December 08.
