11 – year – old finds mother dead; Step Father goes into hiding

[www.inewsguyana.com] – Thirty – year – old Candy Rawlings of Crane Housing scheme, West Coast Demerara was discovered dead this morning in her house by her 11 – year – old daughter.

Residents told iNews that the woman was found tied up with her neck slit. Her husband is alleged to be culprit and he is being accused of leaving a suicide note; as he attempted to give the impression that the woman killed herself.

He has since fled the scene.

iNews also understands that the man tied up  the woman’s 11 – year – old daughter in another room while he committed the gruesome act. The child managed to untie herself and found her mother dead.

One of the woman’s cousin told iNews that she never complained about any issues that the two might have had.
