WICB boss pays courtesy call on State Minister

President of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB), Mr. Dave Cameron on Wednesday paid a courtesy call to Minister of State, Mr. Joseph Harmon at the Ministry of the Presidency. Mr. Cameron was accompanied by Secretary of the Guyana Cricket Board and Director of the WICB, Mr. Anand Sanasie and discussed matters related to the functioning of the WICB.

Minister Harmon also inquired about preparations for the Tri-Nation Series that will be held in Guyana on June 3, 5 and 7 at the Guyana National Stadium.

Mr. Sanasie announced that approval has been granted for Guyana’s 50th Independence Anniversary logo to be placed on the field of play. The Logo will be visible internationally during the broadcast of the matches.

The West Indies, South Africa and Australia cricket teams have already arrived in Guyana. (Ministry of the Presidency)
