Police say two persons have been detained following a drug eradication operation that was conducted this morning at Rockstone Backlands, Upper Demerara River.
During the exercise, half of an acre, with about 1000 marijuana plants, three nurseries and in excess of fifty kilograms of dried cannabis were discovered and destroyed by fire. The plants range between one foot to six feet in height.Two males are in custody assisting with the investigation.
