[www.inewsguyana.com] – The Two Brothers Corporation has extended public gratitude to the Guyana Fire Service for its prompt response to an explosion at the Two Brother Service station, Eccles East Bank Demerara.
The fire apparently started on a customer’s truck and spread to another vehicle but was quickly contained by the Fire Service under the direction of Chief Fire Officer Marlon Gentle.
“We wish to profusely thank the Guyana Fire Service in particular for the phenomenal effort in executing their duties at our Eccles Gas Station,” said Two Brothers Managing Director, Faiaz Ali.
“Had the fire not been contained as it was, much more damage could have been incurred and we are immensely impressed with the Guayana Fire Service whose prompt and tireless efforts saved the company from potentially much greater loss,” Ali said
It was noted that staff and customers were not harmed in any way and the staff handled the situation exceedingly well until fire service arrived. The service station will be re-opened shortly and will resume full service to the public.
