[www.inewsguyana.com] – Ranks of the Guyana Police Force during a joint operation on October 30, 2015 nabbed one of their most elusive suspects, who had been evading the police for quite some time.
A police report confirmed that the suspect was arrested in the heart of the City and was wanted for the murder of Sanasie Lewis, which occurred on September 04, 2015 at the Ghetto Flex Hangout Bar in Albouystown.
According to the police, the man was also wanted in connection with a series of armed robberies and violent crimes. He is currently in custody assisting with investigations.
In September, the police were able to arrest one of two suspects in the execution style shooting of 22 – year – old Lewis, who was gunned down outside the Ghetto Flex Bar in Albouystown.
The young man was shot some nine times about the body by two men, as he and three others were standing outside the bar at James and Albouys Street just before 03:00 hrs.
iNews understands that two men pulled up in a white car, came out on foot and opened fire, hitting Lewis several times.
