Real Estate Agent charged with assault, threatening behaviour

 

[www.inewsguyana.com] – Real Estate Agent, Michael James was placed on $20,000 bail by Magistrate Ann McLennan on charges of assault, threatening language and threatening behaviour.

The 41 – year – old man of Vlissingen Road, Georgetown, pleaded not guilty to all the charges, one of which alleged that on November 08 at Lot 3 Vlissingen Road, he made use of threatening behaviour to Anaka Hope.

Particulars of the second charge stated that on the same day, he made use of threatening language to Hope, where a breach of the peace may be occasioned. He is also accused of assaulting the victim.

Police Prosecutor, Dinero Jones did not object bail, since the parties no longer reside together.

The father of two with no prior convictions was bonded to keep peace pending the outcome of the matter and will make his next court appearance before Magistrate Dylon Bess on December 09.
