Carlsberg launch a success; KI performs to packed 704 Lounge

[www.inewsguyana.com] – Reviews are that the official launch of Carlsberg beer last night inside the 704 Sky Lounge was a success; signaling a positive re-entry of the prestigious brand into the local market.

The event saw Chutney/Soca Super Star KI out of Trinidad performing to a gyrating and responsive crowd that packed the venue.

Carlsberg was recently reintroduced to Guyana by Southland International, a subsidiary of the Pereira Group of Companies and have seen massive promotional activities over the last few weeks.

The Original European Brew is the flagship beer brand in Carlsberg Group’s portfolio of more than 500 beer and beverage brands ranging from alcoholic and non-alcoholic products including MOUSSY & SOMERSBY Apple Cider which have been on the Guyanese market for the past year.

At a media launch last month, Chief Executive Officer of Southland International, Irzad Zamal, said it was an historic reintroduction of a beer which is of uncompromising quality.

Carlsberg beer is locally known when it was last here in 2006 but is now back with an even more attractive and modern packaging synonymous with its rich heritage and authentic appeal to inspire and be relevant to people’s lives today.

Southland International says it is proud to be the sole and official distributor in Guyana. Consumers who are eager to try this quality brew can now find it major supermarkets, gas stations and outlets countrywide or visit the office at 23 Brickdam StabroekGeorgetown (ground floor of the Buddy’s Building).
