Kraigg Brathwaite reached his seventh Test hundred as West Indies moved their lead to 228 at lunch on the second day. He remained unbeaten on 121 along with Shai Hope who was unbeaten on 14. Abu Jayed took the only wicket to fall in the session when he sent nightwatchman Devendra Bishoo’s off stump cartwheeling for 19 off 79 balls.

Braithwaite and Bishoo had added 52 runs in 21.4 overs, keeping Bangladesh’s attack at bay in the first hour. Brathwaite needed 20 balls in the morning session to reach his century; the landmark came when he guided Kamrul Islam Rabbi over gully for four. (ESPNcricinfo)
