[www.inewsguyana.com] – Twenty – two – year – old Banks DIH employee charged with exposing obscene pictures of his ex-girlfriend was ordered to post $70,000 bail by Magistrate Ann McLennan on Monday, April 14.

Angus Durant of Diamond Housing Scheme, East Bank Demerara, pleaded not guilty to the charge, which alleged that on March 1 in Georgetown, he knowingly and without lawful justification or excuse exposed obscene pictures of his ex – girlfriend.

Police Prosecutor, Dinero Jones did not object to bail, but asked that the amount be substantial with conditions attached.

Durant will report to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) every Friday, until the completion of the matter and was ordered to remain fifty feet away from the virtual complainant.

The accused was unrepresented and will make his next Court appearance before Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry on May 13.
