According to Caribbean media reports, Police arrested 61-year-old Robert James Crosby and charged him with the first degree murder and robbery of 62-year-old Lenise Fredericks.

The woman was found dead in her Landover Hills home last Friday.

Police investigators in Maryland said she suffered trauma to her upper body, but they did not release any further details about the nature of the injuries or what would have caused them.

Reports say Fredericks migrated to the U.S. about 25 years ago.
