A Division officers acting on intelligence, conducted a search on a house at Duncan Street, Campbellville between 18:30-21:00hrs on Friday and found unlicenced weapons and a quantity of illegal drugs.
According to a release from police public relations and press officer, Superintendent, Jairam Ramlakhan, the ranks unearthed 11.4kg of cocaine (not cannabis as was inadvertently stated in the release), One .357 Taurus Magnum Revolver with six (6) live matching rounds and
Two (2) 9MM Pistols with thirty-six (36) live .45 rounds.
A 32-year-old male and his 31-year-old spouse have been taken into custody and are assisting with the investigation.
