[www.inewsguyana.com] – Bronze is the order of the day for table tennis star, Chelsea Edghill after teaming up with Belgium’s Lisa Lung for the 2014 Butterfly Canadian Junior and Cadet Championships.

The national champion and her Belgium counterpart laid waste to the USA’s ‘B’ team 3-0 before losing to the host’s  ‘A’ team, leaving them second on the table in the pool stages.

They lost 3-1 to the USA ‘A’ team for the third spot.

After a powerful run in the doubles, the Guyanese player entered the singles competition, making her way into the last 16 but suffered an anguishing defeat to a Canadian.

Michelle Liaw won their match that ended 3-2 as they dueled to the last stroke with neither opponent giving the other a clear win.
