New Thriving opens Event Center at Camp & Lamaha Street building; signs off 10 year contract

[www.inewsguyana.com]The Management of New Thriving has signed off a ten year contract with the owner of the spanking five storey building on Camp and Lamaha Streets and intends to extend this contract in the near future.

This is according to the Company’s Public Relations Office, Feliz Robertson, during the official opening of the Event Center at the facility on Saturday evening (November 30).

According to Robertson, as a Christmas offer, the Company will allow business entities to host any event in December and January for free of cost at the facility, providing that they pay for the food.

When questioned, Robertson did not want to disclose the name of the businessman renting the place or the amount of money it is being rented for.

Meanwhile, early in 2014, the company will begin preparation for the launching of the hotel and restaurant.

“Our plans include a restaurant on the ground floor, a Chinese Tea Bar, Boutique and Spa and to a large extent our unique hotel which will occupy three floors of the building,” the Public Relations Officer said.NT
