A fire of unknown origin has ripped through a bond at the Laparkan Shipping Complex in Georgetown, causing millions of dollars worth of items to go up in flames.
The incident occurred just before midnight on Sunday.
While efforts were immediately made to save some items, hundreds of containers including vehicles were destroyed.
