Family tied up; attacked by bandits armed with gun, cutlasses

crime[www.inewsguyana.com] – The police are on the hunt for five men, who invaded the home of a Pouderoyen, West Bank Demerara family on Thursday night (October 22).

iNews understands that at approximately 20:30 hrs, five men, one of whom was armed with a handgun and the others with cutlasses, entered the home of 45 – year – old Andy Sookram of Lot 82 Samaroo Dam, Pouderoyen.

A police release confirmed that the attackers tied up the man and other occupants of the house, including 18 – year – old Andrew Sookram and Esardai Sookram, 47 years.

The bandits took away two generators, a weeding machine, eight gold finger rings, two gas cylinders and four cell phones before escaping.

    Hey but not to worry ok . Our new security boss Ramjhaat have our backs covered with all the illegal guns out of the hands of criminals.
    Oh no I thought so but the bandit forget to hand over his gun to Ramjaat.

  3. how the minister of public security said that the gun and ammunition thing work and still people is getting rob almost every night who not kill close to them the gone and rob some small shop to on with their live ,because this government still cannot find job for his people and then released prisoner everytime when he think that some of his society start to condemned them so the will say he is a good man ……………..
