Woman found with cocaine strapped to body to face Court tomorrow


The 21-year-old female who was arrested this morning at the Eugene F. Correia International Airport with six kilogrammes of cocaine strapped to her body is expected to face court tomorrow.

cocaineHead of the Customs Anti- Narcotics Unit (CANU) James Singh has told INews today that the young woman is the only person who has been arrested and will make her first court appearance on Thursday.

INews understands that the woman was preparing to board a LIAT flight destined for Barbados and was also scheduled to board another plane from there to fly to the United States of America (USA).
