West Indies to play Zimbabwe and Warwickshire prior to ICC World T20

West Indies will play Twenty20 warm up matches against Zimbabwe and Warwickshire in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) prior to the upcoming 2016 ICC World Twenty tournament.

CRICKET-ICC-WORLD-T20-FINAL-WIS-SRIThe West Indies team is currently in the UAE for a camp and the two games against Zimbabwe, which will not be official T20 Internationals, will be played 27th and 29th February in Sharjah.

On 4th and 6th March, West Indies will then face Warwickshire for two T20s at the ICC Global Cricket Academy in Dubai prior to their departure to India.

The 2012 ICC World T20 champions will arrive in India on 7th March and will play warm-up matches against India and Australia on 10th and 13th March in Kolkata.

In the Super 10 stages of the 2016 ICC World T20, West Indies are placed in Group 1 alongside South Africa, Sri Lanka, England and a qualifying team from Group B.

27th February: West Indies vs Zimbabwe – Sharjah Stadium, Sharjah
29th February: West Indies vs Zimbabwe – Sharjah Stadium, Sharjah
4th March: West Indies vs Warwickshire – ICC Global Cricket Academy, Dubai
6th March: West Indies vs Warwickshire – ICC Global Cricket Academy, Dubai
