Vietnamese man died from brain haemorrhage consistent with a fall – autopsy

A post mortem examination (PME) conducted on Friday morning on the Vietnamese construction worker whose body was found lying in the compound of his place of work located at Track ‘J’ D’Urban Backlands on Wednesday night, gave the cause of death as brain haemorrhage consistent with a fall.

The PME was conducted by Dr Nehaul Singh at about 09:15h at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) Mortuary.

The body of 32-year-old, Nguyen Nigoc Anh has since been handed over to his Manager for burial.

Inews previously reported that Anh was discovered at about 19:00h at the site, where he worked, by a security guard of the said facility.

According to reports received, the man’s body was found with visible lacerations to the back of his head.

Two persons, including the security guard who discovered the body, have since been taken into police custody for questioning.
