[www.inewsguyana.com] – Things didn’t go as planned on Wednesday, May 27 for a gunman after his victim managed to relieve him of his firearm at a city hotel.
According to a report from the Guyana Police Force, at about 09:30hrs, a man armed with a handgun held up a Brazilian National at a city hotel and demanded cash.
It was noted that the intended victim put up a resistance and managed to over-power the man who has been handed over to the police.
The Brazillian was also able to relieve the man of an unlicensed 9mm pistol with 5 rounds that he had in his possession. He is in custody and charges will be laid shortly.
