Update: GT&T staffer dies, two others injured in accident

The police are investigating a fatal accident which occurred at about 10: 25am yesterday June 18 at 58 Miles, Mabura, and which resulted in the death of 26 – year – old Trevon Morris of “B” Field, Sophia.

According to the Police, investigations have revealed that Trevon Morris and 40 – year – old Lawrence Harris of Waterloo Street, Georgetown, were in motor vehicle PJJ 571 driven by 37 – year – old Jermaine Prince of Oronoque Street, Georgetown, when the driver lost control of the vehicle which turned turtle, resulting in injuries to all three occupants.

iNews understands that the men are all contract workers attached to the Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company [GT&T].

Trevon Morris was pronounced dead at the Mabura Health Centre, while Lawrence Harris and Jermaine Prince were airdashed out to Georgetown by GDF helicopter.
