According to officials attached to the Timehri airport, the CAL flight, BW527 was returning from New York while the Fly Jamaica plane was parked, and preparing to facilitate boarding.

Reports are that the right wing of the CAL flight connected to the tail of the other plane, reportedly due to mis-average on the pilot’s part.

Both flights were delayed, and will be grounded pending the conclusion of investigations.
