[www.inewsguyana.com] – The man who was discovered dead in a Graham Street Plaisance, East Coast Demerara trench on Saturday morning (April 05) has been identified as 39 – year – old Bashidae Basdeo Rambissoon, a labourer and father of four of Mont Rose, East Coast Demerara.

iNews (www.inewsguyana.com) has been informed that the man who is an epileptic went to the area to cut Purine Leaf for a business place located further up the East Coast Demerara.

Speaking with iNews (www.inewsguyana.com) on the scene, the man’s 21- year – old son said that his father left their home after 5:00 hrs to pick the plant for someone in Mon Repos. He said that his father would usually do labour work for several persons along the East Coast of Demerara.

The young man said that his father is also known to be a hard drinker but was not under the influence when he left home. Persons are contending that the man might have suffered a fit while entering the cold so early in the morning.

When the police pulled the body from among the Purine leaf, they did not find any marks of violence.

The man leaves to mourn his children ages 9, 12, 19 and 21 years along with his wife and several other relatives and friends.
