Suzie Ann Rhode along with her aunt Andrea Cupidore denied the charge, which alleged that on May 01 at Lot 69 Parker Street, Providence, East Bank Demerara, they had in their possession 33 grammes of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking.
The court heard that the police conducted a search on their home when the narcotic was discovered in a wardrobe in the bedroom of Rhode.
According to the police, she also admitted to the police under caution that the drug belong to her. The duo was refused bail after Corporal Bharat Mangru objected cited that no special reasons were given to the court for surety to be granted. The matter was adjourned to June 5.
