Two dead, one critical in Linden accident

[www.inewsguyana.com] – Two persons are reportedly dead and one critical at the Linden Hospital Complex following an accident at Rockstone Junction along the Linden- Lethem road, Region 10 this morning.

The three were said to be travelling in a F150 vehicle, coming from Mabura  when the incident occurred at about 07:50 hours.

According to reports, the driver, who survived the accident, was speeding when the vehicle suffered a blow out. He lost control and the vehicle toppled several times before coming to a stop.

iNews was informed that a male passenger and owner of the vehicle who was identified only as Khan and a female, both elderly and of mixed race, died.

A female passenger remains critical.  The vehicle was carrying five persons at the time of the accident.

A police investigation is currently underway. iNews will provide more details as it become available.

  1. So sad. You will be deeply missed in Canada. Your grandchildren wont understand, you were a great man, an amazing teacher, an someone I looked up to for years. Always there if I needed a hand or any help at all. The kindness that is rare in this world today.   2. I have a F150 and these trucks are workhorses.
    Pickups are very dangerous to drive when there is no load at the back.
    It sounds like it has an extra cab. All the same a front wheel blow out on dirt road coupled with excessive speed can give disastrous outcome.
