Persons gather around one of the injured men. [iNews’ Photo][www.inewsguyana.com] – Two persons are in a critical condition following the collision of a CBR and a pedal cyclist this evening [Wednesday, September 24] on Irving Street, Georgetown.
Eyewitnesses told iNews that the rider of the CBR was speeding along the road when he struck down the pedal cyclist, however, others claim that the cycle had no lights.
The mangled CBR. [iNews’ Photo]Both men appeared to have suffered head injuries. Reports indicate that the cycle ended up in a nearby canal, while the cyclist landed some distance away. Both men were crying out for pain on their way to the hospital.
