[www.inewsguyana.com] – Two men have been arrested by the Guyana Police Force in two separate incidents of arms and ammunition discoveries.
According to a police statement, at about 20:00hrs on Sunday April 12, police recovered an unlicensed .32 pistol along with 17 rounds.
The discovery was made while the police were conducting investigations into a report of threats at 4 Miles, Arakaka, North West District.
Meanwhile, at 01:30hrs Monday April 13, 2015, ranks of a mobile police patrol conducted a search on a man at Main Street, New Amsterdam, Berbice.
During the search a Beretta pistol with 2 rounds was recovered.
