[ww.inewsguyana.com] – Some three persons were arrested by police yesterday (Thursday, September 18), in two separate incidents were a gun, ammunition and cannabis were seized.
In the first instance, Police say at about 10:45 hours, ranks conducted a search on a house at Frenchman, Mabura during which an unlicensed 12 gauge shotgun along with three cartridges were found.
Two men were arrested and are in police custody assisting with the investigations.
Meanwhile, at about 15: 15 hours ranks of a mobile patrol conducted a search on a man at Frenchman Road, Mabura, during which 460 grams of cannabis was found in his possession.
The man was arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
