[www.inewsguyana.com] – American based Guyanese sprinter Brenessa Thompson is in another zone to start the 2015 season, adding more wins to her name on Sunday at the City Champs Games in New York.
Clocking a speedy 7.05s to win the girl’s 55 metres dash, Thompson has announced herself as a future star. Thompson also went out of her comfort zone, tackling the girl’s 300 metres to win in a time of 38.43s.
In addition, Thompson was also a part of the Medgar Evers 4×200 metres team, running the lead leg to lead the team to victory in a time of 1:39.34s.
Since the start of the season, Thompson has not lost a 55 metres event and is expected to start her outdoor season sometime in March.
Further, Thompson has her sights set on winning gold for Guyana at the upcoming CARIFTA Games in April.
