[www.inewsguyana.com] – Thirty – Five – year old Bibi Shaneeza Bhola of La Grange, West Bank Demerara was reportedly stabbed to death in her business place at Rock Creek, Cuyuni River, Region 7.

iNews last evening broke the story about the murder of the woman in an interior location. Today (Friday, February 28), Crime Chief Seelall Persaud confirmed the murder of the woman and said that the police are looking for two men who rented a room at a twofold business place the woman operates –  a shop and living quarters – in Cuyunui Mazaruni, Region 7.

He said that on Wednesday relatives visited the woman at the business place and when they returned on Thursday they discovered that the business place was closed from the outside. Further checks revealed that the woman was murdered and locked inside the building.

A check for the two male tenants came up empty and all their belongings were missing from the room they rented. It is not clear what might have been the motive behind the woman’s murder. The police are continuing their investigations into the matter and thus far no one has been arrested. (Leroy Smith)
