Teen granted $25,000 bail for armed robbery

Eighteen-year-old Emanuel Stoll appeared in Court on Wednesday, following an allegation of armed robbery committed against the person of Ayesha Adams, the complainant.

Corporal Bacchus took to the witness box before Magistrate Fabayo Azore to swear to the information which detailed that the accused; Stoll, on September 25, 2017, at the Avenue of the Republic, Georgetown, whilst armed with a dangerous weapon (a  knife), robbed the complainant of one cellular phone valued at $62,000.

The remorseful teen disclosed to the court his inability to post bail in the event that it is granted, but the presiding Magistrate exercised her discretion to grant bail at $25,000 notwithstanding the disclosure.

The accused returns to court on October 25, 2017.
