[www.inewsguyana.com] – Seventeen – year – old Shemar Edwards met his unfortunate demise on Saturday evening (January 25) after he lost his life while taking one last dive in the Princess Hotel Pool at Providence, East Bank Demerara.
The young man of East Ruimveldt was with friends at the time of his death. iNews understands that Edwards told his friends that he wanted to take one last plunge in the pool before leaving to go home.
And it was his last plunge, indeed. Reports indicate that he may have hit his head upon plunging into the pool. He was rushed to the Diamond Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
There are no lifeguards at the Princess Hotel pool.
