[www.inewsguyana.com] – A 27 – year – old Tattoo Artist of Campbellville Housing Scheme, Georgetown, charged with robbery was yesterday (Thursday, March 27) remanded to prison by Magistrate Ann McLennan.

Regan Ramiah pleaded not guilty to the offence which alleged that on Monday, March 24 at Campbellville, Georgetown being in company of another, he robbed Eshwardeen Singh of cash $45,000.

Police Prosecutor, Dinero Jones objected to the pretrial liberty of the defendant citing the prevalence of the offence and the fact that violence was used in the commission of the offence.

Bail was refused and Ramiah will make his next Court appearance on April 9 before the Chief Magistrate.
