While police did not divulged the man’s identity, he is also a suspect in the armed robbery of a businessman on Sheriff Street, Georgetown during which Kevin Fields of Agricola was shot and killed.
During this incident an accomplice of Fields had allegedly fled the scene after he was shot.
Also, a suspect in the robbery/murder of businessman Ashook Ragghu which occurred yesterday on Vlissengen Road, Georgetown, has been arrested.
He is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
