Supervisor of the Johnny P Supermarket on Aubrey Barker Street, Georgetown was shot and robbed by a lone gunman last night, Wednesday July 31.
According to the police, the robbery occurred around 21:10h, when 63 – year – old Alfred Fernandes was confronted by a man armed with a firearm, who shot him to his abdomen and took away a bag containing $400,000.00 and escaped in a waiting motor car.
Fernandes has been admitted to hospital and investigations are in progress.
