[www.inewsguyana.com] – Rawle Odin of Middle Road La Penitence, Georgetown, charged with possession of narcotics was ordered to perform six months of community service together with $3,000 fine by Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry.
He pleaded guilty to the offence during his appearance in the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, March 20. The particulars of the charge stated that on Sunday, March 16 at National Park, Georgetown; he had in his possession two grammes of marijuana.
Odin will execute his penalty at the East La Penitence Police Station.
