[www.inewsguyana.com] – Seven – year – old Felesha Persaud became the country’s latest road fatality today, Wednesday, January 29.
According to the police, at about 15:00hrs Persaud of No. 71 Village, Corentyne was struck down by a motor vehicle on the No. 71 Public Road, as she allegedly attempted to cross the roadway.
She succumbed while receiving medical treatment at the Skeldon Hospital.
The driver of the motor vehicle is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
