[www.inewsguyana.com]A security guard attached to Bacchus Enterprise was placed on $110,000 by Magistrate Judy Latchman for the offence of abusive and threatening language.

Marlon King of Lot 430 B field Sophia Greater Georgetown, pleaded not guilty to the charge, which alleged that on November 1 at Queenstown, Georgetown, he made use of threatening language to Theresa Jones.

He also denied that on the same day, he made use of abusive language to the said virtual complainant (VC).

Police prosecutor, Sergeant Vishnu Hunt told the court that on the day in question, the defendant went to the victim’s home to collect his son but the woman refused to send the child with him, stating that the child’s mother was not at home.

The court heard that King then abused the woman and threatened to burn her house her down. Sergeant Hunt did not object to bail and King is slated to return to Court on November 18.
