The annual Officers’ Conference of the Guyana Police Force (GPF) opened this morning at the GPF’s Headquarters at Eve Leary, Georgetown.
The Conference was opened by Commander-in-Chief of Guyana’s Armed Forces, President David Granger. Prime Minister Moses Nagamootoo and Public Security Minister Khemraj Ramjattan were among senior Government officials present at the event.
Several key issues in relation to the present state of the Guyana Police Force and the future of policing in Guyana are expected to be discussed during the three-day conference.
