[www.inewsguyana.com] – Police have launched investigations into a fatal accident that occurred at about 17:30 hours yesterday (Friday September 12), in the Poke Bridge, Lethem Trail area.
Dead is motor cyclist 27 – year – old Lindy Ambrose of Haiwa, Central Rupununi.
According to police, initial investigations indicate that Ambrose attempted to overtake a motor lorry during which he lost control of the vehicle and was run over by the lorry.
He was pronounced dead at the Lethem Hospital.
The driver of the motor lorry is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
