Police at Eteringbang have found what appears to be a unlicenced 303 rifle without magazine at an abandoned camp at Kurishie Landing, Cuyuni on Saturday last.
According to the police, the search was conducted at the camp around 07:45hrs. It was further disclosed that the camp was abandoned recently by foreign nationals.
Investigations are ongoing. So far, no arrest/s have been made.
