RE/MAX Guyana collaborates with US Realty of New York

Globally-recognised real estate agency RE/MAX Guyana (Master Franchise) that was officially launched on November 17, 2021 with its office located at the MovieTowne Turkeyen, Greater Georgetown, has joined forces with US Realty of New York.

This exclusive partnership is slated to focus on Guyana’s emerging real estate market.

Shiv Misir, a partner of RE/MAX Guyana who has been with the RE/Max in Canada for the 33 years, stated that a part from selling real estate, the firm is looking to sell the franchise in Guyana.

“We are hoping to grow this business in Guyana, not only in MovieTowne because we have what you call the master franchise agreement for RE/MAX Guyana. So, our primary objective is a part from selling real estate is to sell the franchise in different locations in Guyana,” he noted.

With the first franchisee already secured at location in Mon Repos on the East Coast of Demerara, the company is looking to set up a number of offices at key locations countrywide by the end of this year.

According to Misir, until last year, Guyana was the only country in South America without a presence of RE/MAX. Which is the number one real estate organization in the world. With a presence in over 110 countries, 8500 offices, and estimated 140,000 agents worldwide and now including Guyana.

Other, partners of Re/Max Guyana includes Mr. Naraine Heeralall of well known enterprise Naraine’s Trading Inc. and Hemant Misir in Toronto.

Meanwhile, Uriel Seenarine, the Chief Executive Officer of US Realty headquartered in New York says he is excited about this collaboration will immediately get to work on the brand.

“My target market for Guyana is to attract the owners of properties in Guyana that’s living in New York and within the diaspora to simplify the process of any real estate transactions they may wish to conduct”

Mr. Seenarine, also is the CEO of Carib Media Corp. (Media Agency) and the CEO of The Caribbean Radio, NY’s Hit Caribbean Radio Station. He will utilize his media and multi- marketing platforms in New York for the growth of RE/MAX Guyana. He has several other projects lined up that will be beneficial in supporting the #OneGuyana initiative.
